Water Use It Wisely: 11Alive News and the Water District Promote Water-Saving Tips

The Water District has partnered with WXIA Channel 11 to promote Water Use It Wisely and to educate homeowners on ways to save water indoors and out.  Throughout the summer, WXIA will air Water Use It Wisely messages during the morning, noon, evening and 11 PM news.  Announcements and spots from weatherman Paul Ossman highlight ways to preserve landscaping during the drought, save money by reducing indoor water use and offer many other water-saving tips.

Water Use It Wisely is a nation-wide campaign designed to help change habits and behaviors towards conserving water. Look and listen for more water-saving tips from the Water District and Water Use It Wisely at your local movie theatre and on local radio stations throughout the summer. To learn more, visit www.wateruseitwisely.com.
